A layout and a new Dare!
So my week as the Dare host has come to an end, so sad. hehe I would like to say thank you to everyone who played along. I had so much fun looking through all of your layouts - there were so many neat stories about your names! I think this was definitely my favorite dare I’ve come up with so far. But it’s time for a new Dare! Before we get to that though I have another layout to share, yay!
This one was for the Spin-a-lift challenge at SSD. The person chosen to be spun was Angela Spangler, who was just annouced as one of the new CK Hall of Fame winners! As a tribute to her, the Babes got together and did some special spins of her layouts. This is the one I did. It uses Traci and Kristin’s Upper East Side kit.

I totally love how this layout came out but I especially love that it’s a layout with a photo of my parents! I don’t always do a lot of those but I made them take this photo so that I could, hehe.
Now for this week’s new Dare! The challenge this week was to scrap what you are thankful for. This is what I came up with:
DD #62 - So Thankful at DST
I absolutely love how this layout turned out! I love that the papers I used are actually Christmas themed. I don’t always have enough themed photos for all these festive kits that are out so this was a great reminder to me that they can be used in a different way. The blending part was actually a happy accident. I was rearranging the photos into the boxes and ended up with one behind the boxes and though, ya know that might be a cool effect. So I tried it and I love how it turned out! I think it’s just the perfect finish for the layout. Gotta love when an accident actually pans out! hehe
Well that’s all I’ve got for now! My family is arrive in two days for Thanksgiving at my house and I need to get to cleaning! So fun, LOL! Until next time…
